I have just spent a wonderful online hour being shown how to collect seeds from all kinds of trees, to grow future trees. From berries to nuts, to winged seeds - the lesson covered it all. I have ordered this book - it was the author who was teaching us and he was lovely, easy to understand, and very clear.
Seed gathering season is from 28th September to 23rd October.

The Tree Wardens will be collecting seeds and begining our own little tree nurseries. We will have trees to share with the community in coming years. Eventually we hope to have a community orchard and a community tree nursery. We are at the beginning of this adventure. If you want to join us, email rothburytrees@gmail.com
